Outside of Work: Proud father of Kevin since 2003 and Nina since 2005. 36 year exercise streak (28 exercise units per week each equivalent to a mile on foot). 10 year streak running at least 5 miles every day. Now I ride an Elliptigo most days. Awarded Elliptigo “Rider of the Year” after riding 50 km in all 50 states in 2025. Ran for California Governor in 2003 Recall Election (lost to Arnold Schwarzenegger). Ran for California Lieutenant Governor in 2010 and 2014 (lost each time to Gavin Newsom). Just finished collecting most of the elements for my Periodic Table of the Elements. Building a mini-Stonehenge at my property in Ramona which is covered in granite boulders.
